Shopping for those Shoji ScreensView our Room Dividers category |
Have you ever wanted to create a totally private space in your house so you could read or just relax in private? It’s not always an easy thing to do without spending a great deal of money. I discovered an attractive and inexpensive way to create such a space. I ordered a shoji screen online at Modabode.com. The screen is easy to handle and move and is substantial enough to keep from moving or tipping over. It creates a separate space in any room for the privacy you desire.
Another thing I’ve done with yet another folding room divider is used it to isolate my guest room and hall bathroom from the rest of the house to give my guests privacy. They could go from the bathroom to the bedroom and back without anyone else in the house seeing them in their underwear or whatever. Several of my house guests have used the room screen in this way and have commented how clever it was and will do the same at their homes. So I am credited with a good idea with a simple, inexpensive screen.
Yet another shoji screen is being used in my home to hide a refrigerator from the rest of my great room. It is in a bar area but the side looked unattractive when it was facing the room. The matchstick shoji screen I bought looks very beautiful as it hides the side of the refrigerator and blends perfectly with the décor. It beats spending money on custom cabinets to hide it or putting the refrigerator in the garage where it would not be nearly as convenient. The shoji screen room dividers have been the answer to many of my problems. Just imagine all the ways you can discover to use the screen's you order!
